Just a quick little note to those who are visiting, the website is under construction so please excuse all the mess thats around. I’ll update this post when everything is completed.
Its been along time since I posted here. I’ve been really busy with school and some other art projects at the moment, but I’m taking this time to post something new, that has to do with Fallen Hero. Now as many of you may know, Fallen Hero is my animated series that I have been working on for well over a year.
Alot has happened over the last few months reguarding Fallen Hero. I’ve done all the pre-production work for episode 1, and as of now, I’ve started to color the backgrounds and work out the timings for episode 1 itself. I’ve completed one background for the opening episode and is the main focus of this post.
This background will roughly have a ten to fifteen second appearance in the first episode. Not much, but its one of these backgrounds that needs alot of detail put into it. It took me around three to four hours to fully complete the background, and I have to say, it was well worth it.
As for other Fallen Hero news, still doing the remaining backgrounds and some backgrounds for a friend’s cartoon. Thats all for now!

Here is another character from the “Retro” Stick Man Sam series; the Medic. Never caught without a grenade, the Medic has always been the reason for Sam’s final breath. The reason for this tormention has never been clear, but in the movie, he teams up with Sam in order to survive the zombie onslaught. The original concept for the medic was another stick man, who would kick Stick Man Sam after every episode, but it changed to a stick man, posing as a medic, who would kill Sam with a grenade at the end of every episode. When the almighty “writer” asked him if Sam will be alright, after seeing the medical hat on him, the medic simply shrugged his shoulders, and told him, he just liked wearing the hat. To see this, watch the original series.

Here is Stick Man Sam!
As many of the devoted fans know, he is the “hero” of the old movies, and can withstand amounts of damage that would make Master Chief hug his overshild and say a thank you prayer. In the upcomming movie, he will again, play the hero, as one of the last sick men alive in the world. In the movie, he will have to battle his way through hordes of zombies, scorching deserts, and a secret government agency that is sent out to kill anything that moves. (That includes Sam.) In his quest, he will attempt to make his way through all of these obsticles in order to reach Australia, an island that was untouched by the zombie infection. Sam starts off his journey in Aldergrove, Canada, and will have to travel around the world to reach his destination.
Hey guys! Just updating you on the recent developments of the new Stick Man Sam movie. Annimation is comming along fine, and, as many of you know, I released 2 trailers of the movie. Because my recent annimations were not about Stick Man Sam, I decided to go back to the original ones, and bring him back. He can annimate much easier than the other stick man, because he has joints, and more movable parts. If you are wanting information, just stay tuned, as I will updating character and story info frequently.
Ok as promised I’ve completed another Sack-Boy! This one is the Mexican Sack-Boy who ALWAYS will hold a taco in the movies. Dunno why but he loves his tacos! You can find him below this post!
Also got some great news on Fallen Hero. I’ve started to sketch out the backgrounds for the first episode in my sketchbook. Once done, I’ll make a flash version and I’ll post a little sneak peak on here. Remember, it will be ALL drawn and colored by hand. So it WILL look amazing! Anyway, peace!
Ok so in my previous post I posted two characters for my upcoming animated series, “The Adventures of Sack-Boy and Friends” and one of them was a Sheriff Sack-Boy. Well, over the last day or I so I’ve been working on a walkcycle and some animation tests. Above you’ll find the walkcycle of the Sheriff Sack-Boy.
I’ve starting drawing the characters for my OTHER upcoming animated short series called “The Adventures of Sack-Boy and Friends”. I’ve completed two characters which can be view below this post.
I plan to have around 7-10 characters each with their own personalities and looks. Below is the Sheriff Sack-Boy and the Astronaut Sack-Boy. I took me awhile to find the right angle and character model for the characters, but I finally got the overall Sack-Boy look pretty to close to what they look like in the actual game. You can also find these and more art on my deviantART page.
As you may have noticed, XplosiveToons has gotten a make over. I’ve been working on this for awhile now (since the summer) tinkering with colours, themes, animated extras, etc. I’ve finally gotten it to the way I like it. I’ve used a theme that I used along time ago for this blog, and quite honestly its my favorite. It has amazing colours and the layout is perfect for my needs. Although I got some tinkering to do on it if I want it too look like the XplosiveToons/CosmicStudio of old.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be re-adding my old animations either here on the blog under a page called “Animations” or on a seperate page on the main page, I’m not entirely sure yet, but I will post when the page is up. This page will mainly house all of my old animations that I did back in 2006-2007. I’ll also be creating some new content within the next few months which showcase both “Tweening” and “FBF or Frame By Frame” animations. They will just be little animated shorts nothing lengthy.
Once that gets started and gets on its way, I’ll start production on my animated series, Fallen Hero. I’m not going to release any details as of yet but like the Animation page, Fallen Hero will have its own section holding all detailed news posts, drawings, skecthes, character models, and what ever else that involves Fallen Hero. Don’t be expecting any animation anytime soon though, I’m still drawing the characters. But the storyboard for episode 1 is done and will be placed up when the page is complete.
Thats pretty much it, the site is back up and within the next few weeks, shall be restored to its former glory.
